Here is the info for the Polyamory events that you have been asking out:
I'm posting the announcement for the munch below.
People who want announcements of the munches and discussion group meetings can subscribe either to our announce only list
or to the announcement and discussion list at
Both lists are open to anyone who wishes to join.
The group web site is http://tristatepoly.com/
Publishing our events on your list would be greatly appreciated. If you would like to announce events you have that do not coincide with ours, you may announce them on our lists as well, and we will (busy people's time permitting) put them on our web site as well.
The only charge for the munch is for the food. You just pay for whatever you order. At the discussion group, since we have to pay for the room, we ask for a donation to help cover the room cost, and suggest $5 but no one is turned away for lack of funds. If we have fewer than 10 people, and some folks want to donate a little extra, it's appreciated. In real life, we usually run a deficit, and I make up the difference. If we get more people, I would love to break even. The leadership of the group picks up the cost of running the web site, and everything we do is free to members except as noted above.
I had been organizing a group on meetup.com until they started charging for what Yahoo is essentially giving away for nothing, so I dropped meetup, as did most of the other organizers I knew at that time.
It will be nice to meet you if, as I hope, you come to the munch tomorrow.
