Note: Sylwia seems to have stepped down as organizer so I (The Geek) have taken over the New York Poly Meetup Group, and appear to have inherited this one as well. Since a woman's group should be run by a woman, and I can't pass the physical, I'm looking for a woman who is interested in taking over this part of the organization. Email me if interested.

Background
Over my duration with the NY Polyamory Meetup Group, I have heard comments made by women about going to Polyamory groups or rather not going because they get hit on by men or are simply being outnumbered by them. I have to say that this experience is not unknown to me as well. Since I've become organizer of the meetup, women have brought this issue up continuously. Finally, it was suggested that a women's group ought to be formed.

The Purpose
To meet with a group of women who are poly-curious, poly-friendly, and poly for a discussion/mutual-support group.

The Plan

Poly Women Discussion/Support Group Monthly Meeting Schedule
Every 3rd Tuesday on the Even Months – at a private location 6:30pm
• Months: 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12
Every 2nd Wednesday on the Odd Months – at a private location 6:30pm
• Months: 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11

• We meet once per month for a discussion/support group.
  
• We try to have at least one social event per month for women only.
  
• Ladies can RSVP on the calendar and be added to a seperate email list for ongoing discussion about the group
  
• Location will be emailed to separate list; we have tried to keep the locations consistent. It will be emailed one week prior and day before for those RSVP 'Yes' and 'Maybe'.
