I've been bringing my rats there, and they seem very knowledgable.

We go to Dr. Erdman at the Madison Veterinary Hospital in Madison. The hospital takes all pets so you have to request a doctor who sees the small ones.

The first time I brought a rat to a vet it was the guy we had seen with our dogs and cats. He was AWFUL. So dismissive. We don't go to him anymore because of how he treated us when we brought Phoenix in. I've got nothing but good things to say about the Madison hospital. The staff is really friendly too and when we bring a rat in, they all coo over her and want to say hi (again, nothing like the staff at the old vet who actually laughed and said "a RAT?").
