This group is about getting together once per month at various restaurants around Manhattan. All that is required is a desire to meet other singles over 40 who share a passion about good food.

The focus will be on restaurants in Manhattan and the most popular type of restaurants: Steakhouses, Fish Restaurants, Italian, etc.

Restaurants selected will be in the $10 - $50 per person range .

There are no meetings, just RSVP that you can make it. It's that simple.

Open to single men and women 40 years old or over.

This group will schedule dinner out once per month beginning in September, 2010. RSVPs will be limited to 8 people per month with a waitlist.  This allows members to get to know each other on a more intimate level and we don't get stuck with "group" limitations that restaurants sometimes impose.

When the date of dinner rolls around, simply show up 10 minutes early - outside if it is nice or inside if it isn't, and, we'll get to know each other over dinner.  If you arrive late, reservations will usually be made under my name "Vena Moore."

Billing is simple, everyone pays for their own including tax and tip (15%-20%).  The only other requirements are that you are 40 or over, single, enjoy dining out and making new friends, and, for those who are single parents - this is about the adults so leave the kiddies at home.

That's it. No sales pitches. No forced dating or mix and mingles. The simple act of dining together in the hopes of making new friends.
