09/07/14 (Sunday) - Arrival Day and Airport To Hotel Transfer, Group Welcome Dinner, Jack the Ripper Tour

Enjoy complimentary transportation to our group hotel. Spend the day relaxing and taking in the sites. We'll meet up that night for dinner at a local pub before departing for our Jack The Ripper tour. This is the original, and complete, Jack the Ripper Walk. It begins at Tower Hill, right on the boundary between Scotland Yard territory and City of London Police territory. Only by beginning there can you understand the conflict between the two London police forces and their leading personalities. A conflict which blurred the investigation and made it easier for the Ripper to slip through the police nets.

Flights arrive early into London so our hotel room might not be ready upon our arrival. If not, you will be able to store your luggage at the hotel.

09/08/14 (Monday) - Thames River Boat Cruise, Tower of London, Tower Bridge Exhibtion, The London Dungeon, London Eye

This morning we make our way over to Westminster Pier to enjoy our all day hop-on, hop-off pass aboard a Thames River Boat Cruise. On the way, we'll see one of London's most famous landmarks, Big Ben. After boarding the boat, we head to the Tower of London for a guided tour by a Yeoman Warder, more commonly known as a "Beefeater", an iconic symbol of London and Britain. Next up is the Tower Bridge Exhibtion where we can enjoy stunning London views from the high level walkways and continue to the Victorian Engine Rooms to learn about the inner workings of the most famous bridge in the World.

After boarding our cruise for the return trip back, we stop at the Millennium Pier to take in two great attractions, The London Dungeon and the London Eye. The London Dungeon is a 90 minute fully themed experience through 1000 years of London's murky past. The London Eye is a giant Ferris wheel on the South Bank of the River Thames and provides breathtaking views of the city during its 30 minute rotation.

09/09/14 (Tuesday) - St Paul's Cathedral, Millennium Bridge, Shakespeare's Globe Theatre

We start the day with a ride on The Tube, London's underground Metro system, to our stop at St Paul's Cathedral, where we will enjoy a fully guided tour. It is a Church of England cathedral, the seat of the Bishop of London and mother church of the Diocese of London. It sits at the top of Ludgate Hill, the highest point in the City of London.

We make our way from St Paul's Cathedral to Shakespeare's Globe Theatre. Along the way, we'll walk across the Millennium Bridge.

Shakespeare's Globe Theatre is a reconstruction of the Globe Theatre, an Elizabethan playhouse in the London Borough of Southwark, on the south bank of the River Thames that was originally built in 1599, destroyed by fire in 1613, rebuilt in 1614, and then demolished in 1644. The modern reconstruction is an academic approximation based on available evidence of the 1599 and 1614 buildings.

09/10/14 (Wednesday) - FREE DAY

Enjoy a free day to explore all of the wonders of London on your own or with other members of the group.

09/11/14 (Thursday) - Hampton Court Palace, Pub lunch

A short railway ride from London takes us out to Hampton Court Palace, Henry VIII’s most famous palace. Led by a costumed interpreter, we'll step back in time to a living Tudor world as we explore this attraction. We'll see Henry VIII's Kitchens, The Chapel Royal, the Hampton Court gardens, and much more. Find your way through the Hampton Court Maze. After we finish, we'll enjoy lunch in a nearby pub.

09/12/14 (Friday) - Westminster Abbey, Jewel Tower, 10 Downing Street, Trafalgar Square, Buckingham Palace, Royal Mews

We'll spend the day exploring some of the most famous political buildings in London. Our first stop is a fully guided tour of Westminster Abbey, an architectural masterpiece of the 13th to 16th centuries, the shrine of St Edward the Confessor, the tombs of kings and queens, and countless memorials to the famous and the great.

Our next stop is The Jewel Tower, which dates back almost 650 years and is an intriguing visitor attraction in the heart of Westminster. It was built around 1365 to house Edward III’s treasures and was known as the ‘King’s Privy Wardrobe’.

We continue our day and pass by 10 Downing Street, the official residence and the office of the British Prime Minister. Our next stop is Trafalgar Square, at the heart of London, and one of the city's most vibrant open spaces. Buckingham Palace, which served as the official London residence of Britain's sovereigns since 1837 and today is the administrative headquarters of the Monarch. Our final stop of the day is a visit to the Royal Mews, where State vehicles are housed and maintained. These include the magnificent Gold State Coach used for Coronations and those carriages used for Royal and State occasions, State Visits, Weddings and the State Opening of Parliament.

09/13/14(Saturday) - Kensington Palace, Kensington Gardens, Harrod's, National History Museum

Kensington Palace was the official residence of Diana, Princess of Wales. We'll spend the morning check out all the attractions including The King's State Apartments, The Queen’s State Apartments, explore the life of Queen Victoria, and see recent decades of fashion through the dress of HM The Queen, Princess Margaret and Diana, Princess of Wales.

Making our way through Kensington Gardens, we'll arrive at Harrod's, probably one of the most famous department stores in the world. We'll check out the food and wine section as a group before allowing everyone some time to explore the rest of Harrod's on your own.

Our final stop is at the National History Museum, home to life and earth science specimens comprising some 70 million items within five main collections: botany, entomology, mineralogy, palaeontology and zoology. The museum is a world-renowned centre of research specialising in taxonomy, identification and conservation.

09/14/14 (Sunday) - Departure Day and Hotel To Airport Transfer
