Eco-Friendly Hike II--GG Bridge to Lands End via Batteries to Bluffs Trail

This will be our second Eco-Friendly hike!  

RAIN OR DRIZZLE CANCELS!!  I will send attendees my cell # by e-mail before the event takes place.

Once again, we'll meet and take the Marin Headlands 76X bus to the Golden Gate Bridge Visitor's Center.  From there, we'll hike along the Batteries to the Bluffs Trail, Seacliff, and Lands End.  We will then take the 38 Geary bus back to the starting point.  There are several scenic places we can stop to have snacks and lunch. 

Meet:  10:15, Depart on Bus sharply at 10:30  (You can also meet at GGB plaza at 10:55)

Bus Fare:  2.00 each way, cash or clipper card

Details:  5 miles, approximately 600 feet elevation gain, leisurely pace.  

Points of Interest:

• Golden Gate Bridge Plaza (has restroom)

• Batteries to Bluffs Trail

• Seacliff

• Sutro Baths

• Lands End

• Ride through Richmond District 


Bring:  Water, snacks, lunch, dress in layers because SF summers can be cold and foggy

Activity Fee:  2.00  (This covers website and organizer fees)
