This group is dedicated to bringing about the collapse of religious belief.

All religions are predicated on their particular set of very harmful and dangerously devisive 'beliefs' or 'faith'. Faith is misguided and almost always the result of forced childhood indoctrination(brainwashing), and there is no place for it now that mankind has rationality and science with which to understand the world.

Those that wish to practice a faith should keep it to themselves and not push it on to others against their will. There must always be complete separation of church and state.

Our sole aim is to diffuse irrational religious belief, we want our children and grandchildren to live fear and guilt free lives in a cheerful, safe humanist and secular society.

We recognze that in the information age and the age of reason our goal is perfectly rational and iminently achievable, with millions of atheists comming out and organizing to counter the madness.

The Out Campaign was started by The Richard Dawkins Foundation (RDF) and is making significant in-roads countering religion. (we don't 'out' others - only ourselves)

Membership of New Atheists Sydney will be of interest to those learning and sharing New Atheist materials.

We will have some fun along the way and be sociable - we also have a lot of important work to do.

Members will be proactive in the community in a myriad of non-confrontational ways, input ideas, vote, follow through, be in attendance and be informed, up-to-date and invigorated with New Atheist ideals. Members will find promoting New Atheism to be stimulating, challanging and personally rewarding.
