Bill Cramer is founder and CEO of Wonderful Machine, a curated directory of high-quality photographers that meets the needs of commercial clients worldwide. He is also an accomplished photographer in his own right, specializing in environmental portraiture for a wide range of corporate, editorial and advertising clients, including Forbes, BBDO, Comcast and Accenture.After graduating from Penn State in 1985, Bill began his career as a photojournalist, stringing for the Associated Press and The New York Times. He assisted many prominent photographers, including a year with fashion photographer Steven Meisel. Over time, his interests grew to include portraiture, where he now concentrates his efforts. He has received a number of industry awards, and has been included in Communication Arts Photography Annual three times.In 2007, seeing an opportunity to build a better mouse trap, Bill created Wonderful Machine as a "source book on steroids," in addition to providing clients with an eclectic selection of photographers from around the world. Gail Mooney is co partner of Kelly/Mooney Productions, a visual communications company based in the NYC metro area. Gail has over 30 years of experience, shooting for international magazines, major corporations, and institutions. Her clients have included: National Geographic, Smithsonian, Travel & Leisure, AT&T, American Express, and KPMG. In 1999 Gail began producing and shooting video projects. Since then, her company has become fully integrated with motion. Gail's true passion is to use her craft, be it via still imagery or motion, to create awareness and effect change. Her first feature length documentary, Opening Our Eyes, was a joint project with her daughter Erin Kelly. They circled the globe seeking ordinary people who are making our world a better place, one person at a time. Gail is 1st VP on the National Board of ASMP and chairs the Motion/Video Committee. Gail also serves on the Advisory Board of YPA (Young Photographers Alliance) as well as on the Photographer Advisory Board of Brooks Institute, her alma mater. Very good experience. There were many details presented and valuable information. I think it was mentioned that a pdf file containing the run down of the day would be made available to attendees but I'm not sure how to obtain it. Thanks.

Gail Mooney & Bill Cramer gave some seriously useful, practical advice in terms of finding your footing in a rapidly morphing industry, be it with working in motion or still photography. Bill Cramer's deconstruction of contract lingo was fantastic and insightful.
