Seattle Tech Meetup

Seattle Tech Meetup, Seattle's largest ongoing monthly event, happens on the 3rd Tuesday of every month.  We believe that the Greater Seattle Area has the greatest tech community in the country, and the more we support our full tech ecosystem the more greatness we'll all experience and create together!

If you can't make it or if you aren't in the Seattle area you can watch the live stream and follow the Twitter hashtag #STMeetup at 7pm PST on the 3rd Tuesday of every month!

November is for giving, right?  So the November STM will include a food drive to support Northwest Harvest in fighting hunger for our fellow Washingtonians.  Please bring a shelf-stable food item or two with the lowest saturated fats and refined carbohydrates (sugar, white flour). They buy white rice and beans in bulk, so we encourage you to donate other items. Here are some suggestions:

General food items:

Whole grain pastas
Brown rice
Tomato products
Canned vegetables
Canned fruit, especially with low sugar (but not artificial sweeteners)
Canned fish or meat
Shelf-stable milk
Beef stew, chili and similar meals with low sugar and saturated fats

Infant and baby foods:

Baby formula
Canned milk
Infant cereal
Jars of baby food
Powdered or canned milk
We also accept baby diapers- See more at:

Had a great time meeting a lot of new people.

I was inspired and also in honor of Small Business Saturday, I'd like to make an offer for the Seattle Tech Meetup group.

For a limited time, my startup coworking space will be available to the Seattle Tech Meetup group members for only $325/desk/month ($50 off). Lock in this rate until the end of December, it's yours until you move out.

We have free parking (a saving of over $100 per month vs. downtown parking!), air conditioning, commercial wifi, lockable storage and all kind of goodies. Remodeling is freshly done, and everything is new, in one of the most energetic buildings in the area (Old Rainier Brewery).

If that's not enough, there is a Double Gold award winning winery below us (Bartholomew, and it's always free tasting for lilospacers!), a spa (Little Red) and Emerald Brewery a block down.

Give us a call if you'd like a tour. 206.659.7536.

Look forward to meeting you soon!

Great event, as always. Fantastic people and informative presentations. Thanks, Russ & Brett. One suggestions: Conversations in the side rooms and at the exhibit tables got pretty loud, especially toward the end, making it hard to hear the presenters. Maybe put exhibitors and other conversation magnets out in the triangle?

The meetup was great last night. Really enjoyed Forest Key's (Buuteeq) presentation last night. I thought he did an excellent job of telling a brand story that strongly aligned the gap in the market with his passion(traveling). The presenters/brands that I often remember from these meetups always do a great job of incorporating their brand with a story, which is extremely important when trying to drive word of mouth. It's Hard to talk about a company when you don't remember the name.

It looks like RSVPs are closed for the event. If I just show up will I be able to get in? I was planning on taking the bus so wanted to check beforehand. Next time I will definitely RSVP sooner. :)

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
