The walking dunes in Napeague should be fine for children. In fact, they will likely run up and down while we plod along. Its not a long walk which is why we are following it with a longer hike in the area for those who want more miles. Depending on your childrens' activity levels, they may also want to do the long hike (at least 3 miles and could be up to five miles long).
