Rendez vous @ Alliance Francaise

Join French-speakers of all levels after work for conversation moderated by native speakers. Enjoy a selection of delicious wines from the Rhône Valley, soft drinks, and snacks. Make new French and American amis in a fun, welcoming environment!

This fall travel to Southeastern France and taste a selection of delicious Rhône Valley wines at Rendez-Vous !

Discover the fantastic variety of wines, grapes, and appellations from this region spanning from Lyon to Avignon. The northern Rhône Valley with its steep slopes is the birth place of Syrah, a grape of great power and elegance, when the smoother Grenache is the king in the southern Rhône.

Versatile and always right, Rhône Valley wines are a great complement to any meal. For the holiday season, pick your favorite bottle to uncork at your Thanksgiving dinner.

Tickets are $12 either before the event or at the time of the event. Here is the link to the event on FIAF page. A bientot!

Just arriving from Germany, where I live most of the time, and learning about your group. I am excited about it and hope to improve on my French. After spending 2 month at the af in Paris, I still find French conversation difficutlt. I wonder, is it still possible to learn a foreign language at an advanced age???
    Hope all is well,

If you are a member of FIAF this event is free!

Also if anyone is out there that speaks a 2nd language like French, Spanish, Italian etc... the NYC Marathon is next Sunday and you can volunteer as an interpreter. I do it every year. Here is the link to volunteer.
