Concert: Tribute to Vasilis Tsitsanis

Dear Greek Music Lovers,

Join us on Friday, November 6, 2009 at 8pm to sing along to the everlasting songs of Vasilis Tsitsanis, Greece’s legendary songwriter/singer, at The Stathakion Cultural Center, 22-51 29th Street in Astoria, Queens.

This unique and one of a kind concert will revive the most popular Rembetika (Greek Blues) and Laika (Popular-folk) songs of Vasilis Tsitsanis with the popular Greek American singer Vicky Palma and her orchestra led by Kostas Psarros, bouzouki/vocals and comprised by some of the finest local musicians.

This benefit concert in support of public service bilingual radio AKTINA FM is presented by the cultural organization CYPRECO of America, Inc.
