Knitting at Panama Tea House

Come have a nice cup of tea (or coffee) and relax while working on your current project before the start of a new week.

This Tea House has two levels to it, during Sundays all street parking is free, tasty food and beverages (including coffee and Japanese treats), and comfy couches and chairs!

We are sitting in the lower level (towards the back you will find stairs that go to the lower level).

*Note: The parking in the International District can be packed.  Public transit/walking/biking is highly recommended if possible! Any bus that goes to the International District Bus Tunnel or 3rd & Main is within three blocks. Here is a link to the ID Bus Tunnel (SB & NB) and 3rd & Main for a listing of the buses that stop at these stops.

** The size of the meetup is limited to the number of people we can accommodate at the sitting area.  However, there's generally room at this Tea House for more people, just not for everyone to sit near each other.  If you are on the waiting list and are fine with the idea that you might end up in your own little group of 2-3 people, you are welcome to show up anyway!

I've never knitted before, but am excited to learn. Would this be the appropriate event to attend, or is it dedicated to working on current projects? And what do I need to start? Thanks! :)

Anna, of course please. This is the perfect place for you to go to. I'm not a "expert" but been knitting for over 40 years. We always welcome new knitters/crochet. There will be someone there who can help you

I wish I could have gone to this one, but sadly, I have already committed to another meet up that day. This sounds like a great place to go though.
