Come join us at the lovely Teahouse Kuan Yin in Wallingford for some Friday evening knitting!
The Teahouse has an amazing variety of teas, and the staff is usually happy to help you pick something out. They have a selection of cakes, cookies, bars, muffins and scones (including wheat-free, gluten-free and vegan baked goods) as well as some light meals.
It is located near Wallingford Center and is served by bus routes 16 and 44 (bus routes 26 and 30 also stop within a half mile).
This group is open to knitters of all levels, though we try to put an emphasis on learning new skills and helping new knitters get started. If you are True Newbie looking for the support to get past that first row (or to remember how to cast-on), this is definitely the group for you! If you are an experienced knitter just looking for fellow yarn-aholics and maybe inspiration to try something new, you have found the right group. Not new to knitting, but new to Seattle? You will definitely find friendly faces here. Crocheters are welcome, too.
So whatever your skill level, don't be intimidated! Join our cozy group and knit away the stress of the week with some great new friends.
