Knitting at the Kuan Yin Teahouse

Come join us at the lovely Teahouse Kuan Yin in Wallingford for some Friday evening knitting!

The Teahouse has an amazing variety of teas, and the staff is usually happy to help you pick something out. They have a selection of cakes, cookies, bars, muffins and scones (including wheat-free, gluten-free and vegan baked goods) as well as some light meals.

It is located near Wallingford Center and is served by bus routes 16 and 44 (bus routes 26 and 30 also stop within a half mile).

How late is the teahouse open again? I signed up for a cooking class on that evening a while back but it ends at 9, I will try to swing by afterwards to see if anyone's still there if it's open. (I hope your stressful work presentations went great, Allison!)

Glad to hear it, Maria! Sorry I didn't get a chance to respond sooner, but I was going to say you should come late...the teahouse stays open until 10pm.

PS...Maria, my presentations went great! Now I've just been playing catch up after being away. And I still owe you an e-mail...sorry about that!

Hi everyone - I'm hosting the group on Friday, but am going to be just a little late. I have to work until 7pm on First Hill, but will head to the teahouse after! Hopefully those of you who get there on time can gather some tables together - thanks!

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
