The Wichita Mountain Wildlife Refuge is hosting a "In Search of Eagles" interpretive program for the public. Guides will take us via bus into the restricted special use areas of the refuge where we will search for bald and golden eagles. The program will help visitors understand eagle behavior and identify features of the birds.
Cost for the program is $5 cash or check. It is recommended that you bring binoculars for a better view of the Eagles.
We will meet-up at the Hobby Lobby off I-40 between S MacArthur and N Rockwell at 8:30 to carpool/caravan. The plan is to enjoy dinner after the program at the world famous Meers restaurant and then drive back to OKC. Hopefully the weather will be nice and we can enjoy a picnic lunch prior to the Eagle program.
I currently have a reservation for 5, Joe has 5, and Priva has 5 bringing us to 15 reserved spots. After we reach 15 attendees I will need all others to call[masked] to secure another reservation. Due to the limited number of slots available for this event please update your RSVP as soon as possible if you find you are unable to make it.
