I also suggest to find an accountability partner to hold you accountable and do mutual check-ins either in person, via email or via phone with the person - your friend or family member or meetup buddy.

It seems to be working great for people who need a bit of a boost or "kick" in a butt. HAHA

Also it helps you track your progress and as you look back you become more proud of things that you are accomplishing vs nagging yourself or your family members. LOL
