Hummingbird Day

Sunday, March 30, Noon to 3 p.m.

(drop-in anytime) Admission by donation.

It may seem early, but Anna’s Hummingbirds start to nest in February, and it won’t be too long before the summer hummers, the Rufous return for their annual visit. Join us as we discover how to get the most of hummingbirds in your neighbourhood through crafts, stories, hands-on exploration and song – don’t worry if you don’t know the words you can just – hum!

We were there late, so we walked around for a bit then when back to the nature house for noon. Did not know who was with the group so we just stayed for a bit, went and had lunch then walked around the lake. My four kids loved it. Making the hummingbird hats and rings were fun for the kids.

I think I saw you there... we were there too making hats and playing. It didn't occur to me to look at the group picture to look for you. Next time! I am glad you could come and enjoy the day.

Olga, I wasn't aware dogs weren't allowed nor that it was a sanctuary. I'll be sure to do more research before asking questions. Moving to a totally different province and trying to adjust to all the changes is overwhelming. Sorry for the inconvience.
