I wish to start a reading club in Newport Beach. My wife Debi showed an interest in joining a reading club due to her love of reading. She wanted to find a club that both of us could join. After searching the web, I found that there are women's groups, younger single's groups and special interest clubs. None of the local clubs seemed to fit us. So I decided we should try to start our own. We are an active married couple in our 50's. It would be interesting to have an eclectic group of people of all ages that include couples. We could come up with a list of books that lead to interesting discussions each month. We live in Promontory Point in Newport Beach and could probably meet in the club house there. I would love to have input from anyone who has experiece with reading groups who can help me set this up. I hope to hear from interested people who can give me ideas and help get this started.
