Live Music: Sunday Session Lachlan Bryan & The Wildes

Lachlan Bryan is a singer-songwriter from Melbourne.
His solo debut – Shadow of the Gun (Core Music/Sony Music Australia) – is a collection of 12 original, deeply personal narratives. They represent thinking-person’s country music – somewhere between the outlaw-country of Willie Nelson, the tongue-in cheek storytelling of writers like John Prine and the heart-on-sleeve confessional style of Gram Parsons or Townes Van Zandt. The album was produced by Rod McCormack at The Music Cellar and features guest performances from Kasey Chambers, Bill Chambers and Catherine Britt.
Lachlan emerged in 2009 as frontman and songwriter for The Wildes. Their debut album Ballad of a Young Married Man gained widespread critical acclaim and brought Bryan’s songs to the attention of the Australian media – both inside and outside country music circles. After touring the record heavily for two years the band took a break, allowing Lachlan to write new songs, travel to Nashville with Sounds Australia, sign a solo deal and record Shadow of the Gun.
With the album release, support spots for Steve Earle and John Hiatt, a coveted invitation to perform at the 23rd annual Byron Bay Bluesfest (alongside John Fogerty, Lucinda Williams, The Pogues + more) and a mainstage spot at The Gympie Muster, Lachlan is already off to a flying start in 2012.
In August he will set off on a two month tour of the USA, supported by the Australia Council for the Arts. The tour will include return visits to Nashville, Austin and New York as well as a gruelling itinerary across the southern states.
Lachlan’s songs have characters, back-stories, sometimes even plots. His records have body counts. His protagonists are neck-deep in (and out) of love. They’re lovers, sinners, criminals and religious zealots.
His live performances are intimate, passionate experiences – regardless of whether he is with band or solo on guitar, vocal and harmonica

Neither of the band websites or LB's facebook or the junkyards page mentions anything about this show. Just want to know if it is actually going ahead.
