I hope you are having a great day and I hope you have a wonderful New Year! 2013 is shaping up to be a busy year for our Meetup Groups. Thank you for coming to our Meetups this past year and I look forward to seeing you at future Meetups!
Here is what’s happening with our Meetup groups:
The Create Photographics Meetup Group will be the one going through the most changes. We have been having a monthly “Lets Talk Photography” Meetup and a monthly Themed shoot. That is all going to change. I’m not really sure how everything will be worked out but we will be having shoots, classes, workshops and other get togethers on a regular basis. I’m currently working on plans for those Meetups throughout the year. The first Create Photographics Meetup we will be having for 2013 will be on Sunday, January 27th. It will be a Pinup Photography Workshop help at Silk’s Vintage Lingerie & Photography in Fredericksburg.
Meetups are currently scheduled for DPA DC through October. We will be meeting weeknights at 6:30pm near Metro Stations throughout the Metro system so if you work in DC and would like to participate in a Meetup please join us!
Meetups for the N&LL Group are scheduled for once every 5 weeks. This will allows us to be out during different phases of the moon. We will be meeting on Saturday evenings and locations could be anywhere from Baltimore to Richmond (north and south) to Annapolis and the Shenandoah Valley (east and west). So look for Meetups to be scheduled soon! Don’t forget about Celebrate the Summer Solstice 2013! This will be the 3rd annual CSS and will be held on June 22. If you have not joined us for one of these we start an hour before sunset and go all night until an hour after sunrise the next morning!
More information on Meetups for all three groups will be posted in the next couple of weeks. As we continue to grow and I hope to have some great Meetups for everyone this year!
All the best, Vincent
Please Note: Unfortunately I cannot sort out the over lapping members and just send one email to everyone just once. If you are a member of two or all three Meetups you will get multiple emails. I put everything in one email so you can just delete any additional emails you get, all the info is the same.
