Beautiful. What settings did you use to capture these?

I started off with f/4.5 and Bulb on manual, but quickly found them over exposed. I finally settled on f/8 with a time of 2-4 seconds depending on the burst. That seemed to work until the last few minutes of the show were all the fireworks just blew my exposure all to crap.

Great. I think I used the setting f/9 and 3.4 seconds so around the same. And yeah, I had the same issue in the end when my exposure was blown out because of all the fireworks exploding at once! Definitely learned a lesson though I have to wait next year again :-(. Thanks for sharing some tips.

Amrith, I think I'm going to look around the area and see if there are more tonight and Saturday just to try and get out and practice. Maybe the smaller area's won't be so bad as DC.
