parking can be a pain!

we'll meet by the hut, and then go down on the beach, please bring flash lghts!!

recommend a super wide angle lens, tripod, shutter release, shoes that can get wet,( a sweat shirt or jacket and a hat would be good protect you from the flying sparks! oh yea a flash light too maybe for light painting i put the event at 8, but you guys can still come early and get some good sunset photos

let the guys that couldnt make it last time get this turn

It's always fun to be out shooting with such nice people. I always look forward to the next one. Randy, you did an awesome job organizing this shoot and a fun steel wool spinner.

It was my first time photographing with this group. Thanks Randy for being such a swinger. It looks glitzy when you swing. LOL Thanks for being in the center of attention, for everyone else to get some great shots.

If anyone wants me to edit their attendance at this or any past meetup, let me know. I use my attendance to keep track of which meetups I've been to and I'm sure some of you would find an accurate attendance useful as well. (And, no, we don't penalize anyone for being a no-show.)

Had a great time at my first event. It's all kinda new to me, but definitely a fun experience. Thank you!

Just to let you know, since someone inquired about this, that with the sparks being so close, it is up to you where you situate your camera and gear. Steel Wool spinners are not responsible for any damages. Shoot at your own risk. Personally, nothing happened to my camera and I've done this a few times.

I do highly recommend a hat or hoodie for this shoot. We will be up close, I mean really close to the flying sparks 20 feet maybe, so be sure to wear one. Sparks will be flying over your head, (hopefully not on your head), so caution on this shoot. The location has a lot of boulders there, the sparks will ricochet off of making it a spectacular image.

Actually, the location would be at Neptune and Westbourne St. There's stairs leading down to the beach where we would be. If you follow the map (sorry Randy) you would be too far south. The hut is at Bonair and Neptune and we would be 50yds (?) north of the hut.
