I had a great time. Thank you to Sarita for hosting. I am disappointed that I didn't get to take any photos of the light painting. I was in the middle of long exposures. My lost. From where I was standing, above the pools, the light show was amazing. Good job to someone. And next time I'll be ready.

Did anyone lose a 72mm lens cap with an attached cap restraint/keeper? I found it in the marshy area by the larger pool.

Well planned and organized, well attended, a great night weather and visibility wise, and I may have gotten one or two good pictures.

Just to clarify, are we meeting at the parking spots along Point Lobos Ave, between the Cliff House and Louis', or are we meeting at the Lands End parking lot (just above Louis')?

I always seem to find the wrong spot to gather at a meetup, so I'm just looking to clarify.

The Lands End parking lot is closed, I guess it is federal and not state.

      A federal parking lot? Sheesh.

any chance someone from the south bay would be willing to carpool? I"m in Santa Clara, though to be honest I'm willing to drive up to meet anyone about as far as...Palo Alto? Menlo Park? Thanks.

I'm driving from downtown Palo Alto, leaving around 3pm. If you're north of there I have room. My main concern is rush hour traffic.

Thank you Owen so much, I'll be there before 3pm at the address you email me. I already sent to you my email to yours. 8-)

Why do you have so many restrictions AKA "special considerations"?
Not only do you make it difficult to join (Who are the 15 "supporters who get the intial spaces?) it sets a really negative, rather than a welcoming, tone.

The policies are designed to be fair to those who show up and contribute and penalize the "No Shows". We are tired of meetups where 30 people signed up 10 show up and 20 are missing (when there is usually many people on the wait-list that would have loved to attend) If you are interested in our policies read our about page (especially the links at the very bottom) for more information:

One more thing to read (part of the About) Though Sarita explained it above and in the original event description. The link leads to a longer description of the lottery and how it works.
