Would like to post a link to the weather forecast here. The low Saturday night looks like it's going to be around 26 degrees F. http://forecast.weather.gov/MapClick.php?lon=-119.37320&lat=37.87769#.U3V_nijDruc

Just wanted to share this. This was posted today on the JMT facebook page. This person also posted photos of the snow-covered trail and the frozen lake. Anyone know where we can get snowshoes? I will try REI tomorrow: Trail Report: Today I hiked/snowshoed from Tuolomne Meadows to Upper Cathedral Lake. About 3/4s of the trail was snow covered and required snowshoes for easy travel. We estimated about four feet of snow at Upper Cathedral Lake and it is still completely frozen. We met up with a fellow who left Yosemite Valley yesterday, spent the night at Sunrise HSC and was near Cathedral Lake. He had planned on hiking the entire JMT but was leaving the trail in Tuolomne Meadows due to deep snow and difficult travel

Hi Saurabh, looks like 16th evening will be too late. I need a day there before the meetup (for other reasons). If you are interested, we can actually meet on 16th eve at tioga gas mart.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
