CLICK HERE for a map. Unfortunately Meetup's map is not reliable.

The Mount Diablo Astronomical society is holding open scopes and viewing Saturday Night. MDAS will talk about telescopes, how they work and let you use the scopes of the members of the club.

They also intend to have meteorites that you can touch and hold.

You'll have to leave the mountain before Orion rises, but as always it's a great opportunity to bring the family and do some star gazing.

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
