The hosts and organizers are getting private emails asking the perennial question "Can I come if I'm on the Waiting List".
The answer is NO and the reason differs according to the event.
For example the CAMERA Social is being held at a store where they specifically asked us to limit attendance due to space, staff and parking. In this case, however if you had a pre-planned purchase as a customer of the store by all means go. If you're picking that night to "go browse" because we're having an event there, then please do not go.
In other cases the group limitations may be due to space, the number of available "shepherds" (hosts), or the nature of the plans.
I'd like to poliltely, but firmly request that everyone read this page - even if you've already read it.
Finally, for the sake of not overloading your volunteer staff please refrain from asking "can I please come" publicly (in a comment, RSVP or discussion) or privately (via Contact us, etc). If you feel you need to ask, ask publicly as then one answer will reach all. Though we love most of you dearly, we can't answer all your questions individually.
PS I've you'd like to repeat an event, host an event, or propose an idea for an event, please see this:
PPS. A special thank you to Joolz and Subhika who have recently become host/organizers.
