PA Year of the Bible

From: Chuck B.
Sent on: Saturday, March 31, 2012 2:00 PM
Hi - -

Here's background for Dan Barker's visit to The Happy Valley April 27-29.  Please mark your calendars; at least five events during the three days will be open to everyone.  Details soon.

I hope you know already that last Monday (3/26) FFRF filed a lawsuit over the PA Legislature's unanimous vote to make 2012 "The Year of the Bible" in Pennsylvania.  I hope this will bring good publicity during Dan's visit.  Even people in Canada picked up the story.  And you might want to vote on the poll being taken by the Wayne Independent in Honesdale, PA.

Thanks!  - - Chuck

Note: Take part in this poll: "The PA House recently passed a resolution declaring 2012 "The Year of the Bible" in Pennsylvania. The Freedom From Religion Foundation has sued, saying that the resolution runs afoul of the "establishment clause" in the US Constitution. What do you think?"
