I finally saw the video.

Quite apart from the fact that this guy is obnoxious and will turn people against us, what is he telling us?

Now, I hear tell that in Ireland they're looking to pass a blasphemy law that will punish anyone who says anything against religion.

Did I hear this guy telling us that a similar law might be passed here in Pennsylvania?

I'd like more information about this. If there is such a law about to be passed, then we do need to take action.

Effective action, action that works.

Oh shucks, I'm remembering Larry Flynt. Didn't he say something about the necessity of protecting even obnoxious and offensive speech?

I found the video stupid and ineffective. He'll alienate people.

OTOH, there may come a day when it becomes necessary for us to grapple with this issue and deal with protecting this very kind of stupid and goofy speech.

OTOH, maybe I'm wrong.

Cheers,

Laura
