Monday Night Event (TEMPORARILY MOVED FROM UWS TO EAST/CENTRAL MIDTOWN)

(1) Pre-registration required.
(2) The seating area is open but the restaurants will be closed, so no purchase is necessary to support the venue. If you are hungry, there is a bar/restaurant upstairs (lobby level) at which food can be purchased until about 8:30 pm.
(3) Bringing a game set or dictionary is recommended but not mandatory.
(4) If you have trouble finding the group, call my cell: [masked].
(5) On rare occasions, the Trump Tower lower level may be closed for a "special event". When this happens, proceed to our "emergency backup" venue, the Sony Atrium (550 Madison Avenue at 55th Street). Please note, we will ONLY be meeting at the Sony space when our regular meeting place is unavailable, as the Sony managers have informed me that they would "frown" on frequent gatherings there.

Mike Dain, Joe Lerner and I played 2 and 1/2 games. We had to call time on the last game. Joe won the two full games, Mike and I came in 2nd and 3rd, respectively. Spike won the shortened game. Bryan, Fran and Mary also played three games at their table. Interesting words in my games included (K)NAVES, PONG, ZIGS, JEAN, YETI, MICRO(N), INURED, SHANK, AHA, JETE, ZAPS and AXIOM. Good games with close scores.
