I'm a writer who spends most of the day working from home -- so I take advantage of my free time exploring LA's great places with good friends. I'm a neophyte surfer, a swimmer, enthusiastic world explorer and budding pastry chef.

I typically make my way through three or four books a week -- nonfiction, biographies, music, sociology, global issues, politics are favorite topics.
