This is a group for anyone who has experienced anxiety and / or depression and would like to experiment with drama in a non-pressured setting to build up their confidence and meet others in the same boat.
Try on a new persona, feel what it's like to walk in a confident person's shoes, practice tricky situations through role play, develop your self expression, experiment with a new way of being.
We will start super slow with nothing too challenging and build it up slowly as everyone's comfort zone grows. We will begin with non verbal communication and cover areas such as intonation, clarity of speech, inflection, developing a character, interpreting a script and lots of improvisation.
We combine this with CBT tools to identify and challenge unhelpful thinking patterns.
