Our May Meetup is just around the corner and this month we're going to swing by the good folks at Starfish and see how they are using Ext JS to build their student retention solutions app. If you are interested in presenting this time around post ideas to the forum or contact me! Directions: http://maps.google.co... Metro: Down the street from the Rosslyn Metro on the Orange/Blue Line. Parking: Parking is free after 6 pm. From Lee Highway, turn right onto North Moore Street, then take your first right onto 19th Street. Stay in the right lane and make a slight right around the BB&T Bank. Turn into the driveway on the right in between the two brown office buildings. Go straight to enter the parking garage. Our building is the one with the BB&T Bank on the first floor. Getting in: At that time, our exterior doors are locked and so is the elevator. We will have representatives in the lobby to greet attendees.

Re: good testing tools, I found this while searching: http://www.parasoft.com/jsp/sol...

It's expensive, but it can record events and make assertions about a web page as well as run server side scripts and database queries. Check out the video by clicking on the link, End to End Testing.

Just added a presenter for tomorrow's Meetup!

Anthony De Moss from Top Shelf Solutios (www.topshelfsolution.com) will setup a simple zend sample for an "inbox". He'll go through the backend (db + zend portion) briefly, giving an overview of how it all fits together and what zend does for you, and then roll into quickly building a UI with Ext JS that can show the messages and read the messages. Thanks Anthony!
