Guys i found out why we had that bug where the envvars were not being pulled into strider (SERVER_NAME, HOME, etc).. http://stackoverflow.... -- basically "supervisor reread" has a bug and it doesnt really pull everything in -- but if you restart supervisor it pulls in new environment variables *facepalm*

Hi all, I am really interested in the topic for Continuous Deployment/Integration. However, I suddenly found that my son's birthday is today and I have already had another appointment. I am so sorry to change my RSVP in the last minute. Sorry for the inconvenience!

What do you use for continuous integration? Does your CI system also deploy for you? Here's a node.js solution I can talk about: http://stridercd.com/

I am currently using Gitlab+Gitlab CI but have been planning to add CD and was looking at Strider specifically

Gitlab is awesome -- I haven't used it lately, they didn't have the CI component then. I'm building something else (with MEAN) that i will use in order to do my presentation and I'll show how that works on Strider. After you see it you could contrast with Gitlab CI and we can see strengths/weaknesses of both

Full Stack Tools - I would like to go over a small project where I can give examples of using the "MEAN" stack to handle common solutions.

      Very Cool . . .

Does anyone have experience with the cluster module in combination with the domain module?

    June 30

    • Eric W.

Any reason you forked only a single cluster?

      June 30

    • Keyvan

The worker is in essence a device representation in a network -- only one such representation should exist per physical device... so one worker. The cluster/domain construct is simply a way to ensure that error states get cleared out (process.exit()'d) but will come back as a fresh worker. I could have accomplished the same without the cluster module and deferred process keepalive to supervisor or upstart. I am not using cluster for what it's really good for in this example, which I think, is to share server handles.
