I recently moved to London from Edinburgh for work. I am a civil servant (which I promise is more interesting than it sounds). I read a lot and I like walking and going to the cinema. I also love a pub quiz.
The Greek Myths by Robin Waterfield. It is really interesting so far, I picked it because Greek gods always seem to be questions in pub quizzes/on Pointless and I could never answer them. I am also reading Moranthology by Caitlin Moran, which is hilarious and rude. I also carry around a teach your self Spanish book which I have had for 2 years and haven't got past Chapter 3.
I think it would be great to have a group of like minded people to discuss the books you have read and to get different opinions and point of view. It would also be fantastic to meet people who can share their book recommendations and as a newcomer to London it would be nice to branch out and meet some new people.

Hi. I love non-fiction and always have a book on me for those commutes and long queues - and if I had the spatial awareness skills I would be that person reading while walking down the street as well.
