Ohio Renaissance Festival Time!

It's Highland Weekend!

The village puts on its kilt! Join the village in celebrating Highland heritage as villagers host special events including a Haggis Eating Contest, Knobby Knees Contest, and a traditional Highland Games competition. Also appearing this weekend only, the thunderous pipes and drums of Albannach and the Celtic musical comedy of the Tartan Terrors!

Adult admission - $17 (I don't know how much the tickets are at Kroger. If anyone knows, could you please post it in the comments section? Thanks!)

We can meet at the Greene to carpool if anyone is interested.

Ok, looks like we're all set for tomorrow. Let's meet up at the entrance at 11am. Looking forward to seeing everyone again!

Yes Jared. I was there but arrive about 30 minutes passed 11. I leaked around, enjoying the show and keeping my eyes open looking for you guys but did not happen. I enjoyed it any way.

Are folks still willing to meet at the Greene? I love anachronism-themed entertainment, but I will need some help with transportation.

Chrissa and I can give you a ride, Joel. Anyone else want a ride who lives close to the Greene?

I'm not sure where everyone lives, but we live in the Franklin area if folks want to meet at our house and carpool.

It's too bad we're not carpooling, Jared was planning on bringing his bagpipes for the ride down. XP

It's okay, Sam. I'll lend you my favorite bagpipe CD: "Chickens dying in the Key of E-flat minor." You can put it on repeat on the ride down.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
