Get our SCREAM ON at Land of Illusions Haunted Scream Park

NEW RAIN DATE!!! We have changed the date due to inclement weather.

We are joining forces with Hiking Etc. & the Dayton-North Cincinnati Social Connection to try to get a group rate.
Several of us are in both Meet up groups.

Lets go get our Scream On at Land of Illusion. Here is the site to read more about it:

Once known as the legendary Middletown Haunted Trail, Land of Illusion is the top haunted house in Ohio. With the most haunted attractions in the Cincinnati-Dayton region, we know how to dial up the dread. One ticket gets you access to five hellish haunts: Dr. Psycho’s Haunted Estate, The Temple of Terror, Killer Klowns, The Voodoo Bayou Shanty, and The Middletown Haunted Trail.

Land of Illusion is dedicated to inducing spine-tingling gouge-your-eyes-out fear, and our talent for terror creates one of the most scream-tastic haunted houses in Ohio, the Midwest and the nation.

Each ticket includes a bonfire, four haunted houses, the haunted trail and Stage of Rage. Gates open at 8pm and close at 2am. Stay all night and go through every attraction as often as you like.

For an EXTRA $12.99 this year, they also have the Zombie Sniper Patrol ("ZSP") if anyone wants to sign up for that, too. (I will be <g>). In the ZSP, they arm you with paintball guns, load you up in army vehicles and drive you out on a course where Zombies attack and you must fend them off with glow-in-the-dark paint balls.

Ticket price update: Now the online price is $35 each or $27 for groups of 16 or more and must be purchased online in advance to get a group rate. There are $5.00 discount coupons available in the October REACH magazine that are good for up to 4 each. I have several of those coupons enough for quite a few of us, even if we don't get enough for a group.

Parking costs $5 per car and is donated to various non-profit organizations. To save money, we will have a car pool to regroup into cars for the trip to Middletown.

Land of Illusion car pool: Let's meet up and car pool from the Toys R Us parking lot on 725 near 741 and I-75. The park opens at 8, so let's meet at 6:45 p.m. so we can leave no later than 7 p.m. for the Land of Illusions.

REMINDER everybody!!! Tonight is the night for the Haunted SCREAM park. We are meeting at 6:45 at the Toys R Us up by the Dayton Mall next to the former Superpetz near the intersection of 725 and 741. We will leave by 7:00 p.m. and head south taking I-75 South Exit 36 to OH-123 in Franklin. At the big truckers' Pilot station there, we will meetup with our southern group members who are attending. We'll then all take the short jogging roads over to the HAUNTED SCREAM PARK Woot! Unlike last week, the weather looks to be PURRfect tonight!!!! Can't wait. Should be a great time!!!!!

Hi Dawn, my wife and I are coming from Fairfield. Is there a place to meet south, or should we just meet at the park site?

I think it may be hard to find each other at the site. Let me think & I'll post something a bit later today.

These are the directions for us to get there. I'm thinking we could all meet at the Big Pilot Truckers gas station off exit 36 on OH-123... probably easy to find that way. Meet by 7:30?

      Take I-75 S to Exit 36 (Franklin).
Turn right off exit onto OH-123 toward Franklin.
Turn left onto OH-73 (Riley Blvd) toward Middletown and follow approx. 5 ½ miles.
Turn right onto Carmody Blvd and follow to first light.
Turn right onto US-4 follow 1 ½ miles and then turn right onto Thomas Road, destination on left.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
