Economics and Statistics
Haven't read a ton (hence joining... to read more) but I enjoy anything relating to Behavioral Econ and psychology (Kahneman and friends).
Noam Chomsky! Anything really... but I prefer books that relate to contemporary topics.
Preferably DC metro area! And I am available weekdays after 6 and weekends.
I spent 4 years in a college surrounded by people hungry for knowledge, however, I was rather lost and was unable to find that hunger for knowledge myself. Now that I have graduated and spent a few months working the 9 to 5 desk job, I am starting to figure out what and how I want to learn. I want to go back to school at some point, but I don't think I can go until I have a clear idea of what I want to go back for. The only way I will figure it out is by reading and exploring new fields. I do know I am obsessed with consumer behavior and decision making (discovered after a long summer of working retail...). We'll see what happens!
I am a recent college grad, now employed in DC!
