I'm applying to a radiology program but am still, in many ways, undecided.
I don't often read non-fiction which is, counter-intuitive as it might seem, why I'm drawn to this group. Reading is a weak point for me that I want to work on. That said I remember enjoying Amusing Ourselves to Death, when I read it in school.
I'm concerned about the environment so that would be focus for the group I could appreciate.
I don't actually live in DC but normally when I go down I take the red line so one of the stops on their preferably. MW are the only day's I'm really busy; Any other day could work although preferably I wouldn't get home too late.
I liked reading a lot as a kid and preteen but when I was a teen I became depressed and stopped. I'm having trouble getting back into the swing of things so that's what I'm hoping this group will help me with.
I'm a college student who wants to improve my reading skills, and, more importantly, what motivates me to read.
