September Book: Imagine: How Creativity Works/ Book Movie Music Eco-Swap

From: RK
Sent on: Wednesday, July 18, 2012 11:20 AM

Hi Everyone:

The September book poll has closed and the winner is "Imagine" by Jonah Lehrer.

Also, there's an event this Saturday that you may be interested in -- you can turn all those book club books piling up on your shelves into new finds. This was sent to me from Marta, a member.

You can also volunteer as a book expert, which I know many of you are.

Swapsity's Book Movie Music Eco-Swap – July 21

Toronto’s best and biggest swap extravaganza is coming to the heart of downtown Toronto. Swapsity is bringing back the hugely popular Book Movie Music Eco-Swap to the Live Green Toronto Festival this summer! Trade your pre-loved books, DVDs, CDs, Blu-ray and vinyl, one-for-one, for new favourites. They’ll be setting up our six-tent Swap Zone in Yonge-Dundas square on July 21, giving Torontonians a chance to take a much-needed break from spending and delve into the world of swapping. The event is FREE. Check out the Swap Zone video!

Remember to bring your swappables!

Volunteer as a Book Expert

Swapsity is also searching for Toronto-based book aficionados to assist their swappers in selecting books at the Swap Zone. If you’re interested in helping out, send an email to [address removed]. The Swap Zone is 100% volunteer run.
