Thank you for writing, and I’m glad you enjoyed the story. I submitted an SF short story to the Clarion SF workshop this week. I don’t know if they will accept it, I will find out in a few weeks.

I wanted to attend the book reception last night, but I could find no mention of it on your website, and didn’t have the card for it with me, so I couldn’t get there. Please accept my apologies for absence
