With newspapers going bust and TVs and radios turning into vintage collectables, how do we save our profession? I am not keen on social media -- it pours out a lot of info from unprofessional writers that we don't need. I have warmed up to online reporting but still hold a little grudge against it because bloggers from all walks of life steal precious time from the Internet users. Join me on on my old steam train with a broadsheet in hand ;)

I am a foreign journalist, brand new to San Francisco. In my past lives, I worked on TV as a reporter and in print as a Lifestyle Editor. Occasionally writing for BBC Travel now, I am on the look out for new challenges.
An amazing group; I definitely share the same font with organizers and participants. Thank you.
