Tough Mudder 2012

Mudder Entry
February 1 to April 30

Standard Entry
May 1 to July 31

Final Entry
August 1 to September 17

Join the NorCal Crew at the 2012 NorCal Tough Mudder! What's the Tough Mudder you ask? Well, it's not your average lame-ass mud run or spirit-crushing ‘endurance’ road race. It’s Ironman meets Burning Man. The 12 mile obstacle courses are designed by British Special Forces to test all around strength, stamina, mental grit, and camaraderie. Forget finish times. Simply completing a Tough Mudder is a badge of honor. This year's course is totally different,

ALL NEW COURSE!! Check it out here:

All Tough Mudder sponsorship proceeds go to the Wounded Warrior Project.

WARNING: Tough Mudder is 3-4 times longer and MUCH TOUGHER than a typical mud run such as Warrior Dash. On average, only 78% of participants finish a Tough Mudder event. Only those in strong physical condition should enter.

    Hey Mudders!

Tough Mudder is less than a week away! I've put together some useful information at There's a lot of important info and I've tried to keep it concise, so if you only read one thing, PLEASE read the itinerary information. Any questions, shoot me an e-mail at [masked].

If you can drive people on either Saturday (to the cabin) or Sunday morning, please send an E-mail to [masked] ASAP and let me know how many people you can carry and on what day, so I can set up the carpools.

Check out all the info here:

You may get a few emails from me as I will send from here, Tough Mudder site and cabin reservation site just to make sure I reach everyone.

Here's an update for those wanting to stay at a cabin prior to Tough Mudder. I've worked out an arrangement with a cabin about 5 miles away from NS. The cabin has 8 bedrooms and sleeps up to 20 people (2 - 6 single beds per room; most of which are bunk beds). If you're interested, the cost will be $35 for a bunkbed room (4 - 6 beds in the room) and $40 for a deluxe room (only 2 single beds in the room; only 3 rooms available). You'll need to bring toiletries, sleeping bag and pillow (it's just a mattress on the bed!). There's WiFi but no TVs. If you're interested, book your spot here:

This is on a first come, first served basis, so if you're in, put down your $$ ASAP before the spots fill up.

Hey Danny, I won't be able to be at Après ski lodge on this wknd. I would recommend that anyone who want to stay there join as a member! They can do it on line. If anyone does sign up please use my name Charlie cutter as referral .
With membership you get one night stay free! Let me know if anyone wants to become members. It's only 8 miles from Northstar and membership is for a year from day you join. The lodge is open year round. Best of luck

Hey everyone! I'm already signed up with a team for the Saturday course but would love to hook up with you all at some point to get to know you before the season starts. Any pre/post event plans for the group in Tahoe?,
