The ride has a short climb to get to the Golden Gate, and a downhill once we're on the other side...nice downhill and straightaway cruise thru Sausalito mostly all flat... on the map above we will be doing 1 thing different, on BLYTHE we will take a RIGHT into Tiburon as opposed to taking a LEFT. nce we get into Tiburon, we will wait for everyone to come together and start the climb, it's a gradual ascent but definitely something we're all capable of doing :-) And we will have a 2nd stop on the corner of San Clemente & Paradise Drive to recollect everyone. Then we'll take a LEFT from San Clemente to Talmalpais RD which is a downhill straight away into Corte Madera and we'll cross over the HWY and cruise the neighborhood in Corte Madera, then begin another ASCENT, but once to the top..it's all down hill...lotsa fun....once at bottom take a LEFT onto BLYTHE and we'll meet there again on the flat TRAIL and recollect...then cruise back....

Hey guys, a special note if you plan on renting...I decided to rent because my bike wont be working in time (parts). However, even though its just Thursday, I was not able to rent online for Saturday... Apparently sports basement requires a 72 hour advanced notice...on the phone now with them and they are getting a road bike reserved for me... with promo code... BUT they need anyone who decides to rent to do so within next hour as the common sizes are getting taken for Saturday...

    • Ella

Great! Thank Ron. Glad they were able to help you over the phone. I hope by now anyone that plans to rent a bike has one reserved... If not please do ASAP! Other rides are happening on Saturday and renting a bike in the store on the day of the ride may not be possible.
