#Nordic Walk on Sunday - from Swavesey

Nordic walking for improver's this Sunday from Swavesey - great fun for all abilities. We will meet in centre opposite The White Horse Inn, 1 Market St, Swavesey, Cambridge CB4 5QG,. Grid Ref: TL362689. http://bit.ly/h6nzhG Perfect for those of you who are new to Nordic Walking, those who want to refresh their Nordic Walking technique and for those who want a medium paced Nordic Walk. The walk will be 6.5 miles. This delightful circular route first passes the Constable's Rood, a plot of land that was given to the village constable to grow vegetables of keep livestock on from between 1794 and 1937. Next the walk circles the RSPB Fen Drayton Lakes which is an extremely popular site with wetland and wintering birds. If you are NEW to Nordic Walking and want to give it a go can you email me first to find out about Beginners Classes - PLEASE. Nordic Walking Cambs Terms & Conditions of Regular Nordic Walking Sessions: £6 per session including LEKI Nordic Pole hire. Please arrive at least 10 minutes before the advertised start time to set up poles and equipment. Session Fees are payable at the beginning of each walk on a pay-as-you-go basis. We operate a ‘No Bad Weather - Just Bad Clothing’ policy, so be prepared to walk in all weathers. Please bring water in a back or waist pack and wear correct clothing and footwear.
