EEYORE's Birthday Party! - For Free! ( All Ages )

An Austin Original, Ever been? Let's Go!!

Just found out that this started off as a UT event to look forward to finals week and has turned into a non-profit event, where if you are new to Austin you learn about it quickly as a thing to do. Check out the website: http://www.eeyores.org/

All the info on how to get to EEYORE's Birthday is on the website. We will meetup at 4pm. Just text me to find me. I'll be handing out wrist bands and finding a spot for us to mix and mingle.

This will be a time for everyone to get to know each other. Everyone can check-in and come and go, walk around the event as they please. For this event, my job will be to make sure people get to visit this wonderful event! The agenda for the night will not be, me leading everyone around together as a group simply because it will be crowded and it's more challenging keeping large groups together in crowds. I'll just be providing you guys with a 'home base' to socialize.

How will you find us?
I don't have a designated meeting spot setup already. When I arrive at 11am, I'll pick an easily recognizable area then post on here where we are at around 11am. I'll be handing out orange wristbands. The only purpose of the wristbands is for our members to tell who is in our group as you walk around the park. After you check in, you're free to roam around or stay by home base as you like.

If you still can't find us by checking the feed, text me at[masked] and I'll let you know where everyone is at. ( Use texting me as a last resort since we may have up to 100 people in our group. If we only have a few people texting me, I'll be able to get to everyone )

Let's have some fun. For Free!!

I had a great time! Didn't arrive until 7PM. I may or may not have seen you since there were SOoooo many people everywhere! Never found anyone from NAS and did not bring a texting machine. My bad on that!Free hugs, free shrugs, and lots of creative costuming! A paradise for people watching, I enjoyed it even though the Experience would have been best shared with someone.

Hi. Just a heads up. One of our members mentions you're not supposed to bring booze in FYI and they will be checking bags at this event.

I found there is a FREE parking garage with FREE shuttle busses to the picnic. There are plenty of food and drink vendors, but you can save a few bucks if you pack your own booze and water. Plastic or reusable water bottles only as no glass bottles, cans, or coolers are allowed. If you have a thin, easy to transport blanket of some sort, you'll make instant friends with people who want some place to sit.

Eeyore's Picnic includes a big, fun, costume contest, so feel free to dress up (anything goes, honest). Costumes aren't required, though, so no pressure if you're more comfortable in shorts and a t-shrit. It really is a big, fun, laid back excuse to have a day in the park with lots of music, trailer food, drinking, and occasional nudity.

Just a way to help us seem together or be able to see who's in our group. There will be lots of people everywhere. If it gets closer to night time, I 'may' have glow bracelets.
