May I have some cheese with this "whine"? I thought we were not going to show Blade Runner over the fourth of July? I will be out of town and will miss it (boo-hoo, real tears of being bummed out).
Have fun! It is a great flick!

Announcing a new Meetup for North Bay Mobile Drive-In!

BLADE RUNNER - We'll be journeying into the now not-so-distant future of 2019 to follow weary, retired android-killer Rick Deckard into a tech-noir world brilliantly crafted by Ridley Scott, aiming to repeat the success of his then-recent visionary 1979 sci-fi-horror hit, ALIEN.

With wild, atmospheric sets and memorable, often bizarre characters, BLADE RUNNER set a new standard for a grungy, futuristic urban aesthetic as well as soundtrack adaptation with a haunting score by New Age maestro, Vangelis. Perhaps not surprisingly, Scott's version of BLADE RUNNER has proven quite accurate in predicting such things as heavy cross cultural integration, video phones and corporate control presiding over a gradual urban decay.

Presented in sharp digitally restored HD 720P, this edition of Blade Runner will be shown with shorter Ten Minute 'Intro Presentation' and 'Intermission' instead of our usual 20-25 minutes due to the length of the feature, so plan to arrive early! Also, with warmer days ahead, it might be an ideal time to go the lawn chair route as we expect a strong turnout for this one.

PLEASE CHECK the soon to be listed POLL for this film, as there are several different 'cuts' of BLADE RUNNER and YOU get to pick the one we'll watch!
