Really sorry to hear about your car Daniele! Glad you were able to reach out to our painters for possible carpool to the North Bay. Hopefully we can set up another San Francisco location later this year :)

Hot as blazes, and a dry lakebed remind me to be thankful that MOST of the time, we get to paint in amazing weather. The new painters that joined us today were very nice - and we stuck it out until about 3.

Thank you to all that braved the scorching HEAT! I retreated to some shady trees and painted near Joyce and Kevin. Throughout the afternoon I had to move my easel several time just keep in the shade. It was great see members: Linda Schweitzer and Linda Rosso.... and nice to meet new members Bobbie and Joyce. Had a nice conversation with Frank. My paints were drying extremely fast but it was still fun! Until next time Painters!

I went there at 11 and no one was there. There was no shade and the water had dried up, so the landscape was not very interesting. I left and painted in my studio.

I am looking forward to painting with you all at this lovely location. I am not traveling far as I live in Sonoma. I guess I will let the weather decide if oils or acrylic will be better.

Thanks Donna, glad you don't have to commute too far! Should be nice clear weather but it gets windy in the afternoon. Remember to bring something to weigh down your easel. I usually use my filled backpack :)

I will try to be there, Sac is getting too hot again. Time for some painting on location in a cooler climate.
