Call for Plein Air Artists
Outstanding Exhibit Opportunity

Deadline Extended to - March 26, 2010
Hi All Plein air Artists,
Thank you to the many who have called in with your questions ... and consequently applied to participate in this exhibit opportunity. I want to apologize. In my effort to simplify application process and be eco-friendly I have caused some confusion.
Therefore, let me clarify a couple of points. I decided to allow any plein air artists who have participated in our previous paintouts to apply without including images with their applications.  This is because we have all the cd's on file with images from any previous juried event. I was only trying to eliminate unnecessary work for you and unnecesary use of resources and landfill.
All applications will be considered by an impartial team of people knowledgeable in the arts. Artists who have participated in our paintouts will not have an advantage in the selection process. I don't expect we'll get "a ton of applications" for this event/exhibit due to the last minute call and the confusion I caused, though  I do expect we'll fill the 30 spots.  The selection of the artists will be based on quality first, of course. Secondly the final selection will be based on having a diversity of style represented.
I encourage everyone interested to apply. Please let me know your questions, ideas and comments.
