Direct exit off of Highway 1 if you are coming from US 101. The beach itself is off-leash once you pass the short roped walkway. The majority of the hiking trails are part of a rehabilitation project so a leash is required for dogs on the hiking trails.
We will do a small loop hike first, and then hit the beach. For anyone that needs a longer hike, there is a hilly path that connects to the Bay Ridge Trail.
We will gather at the bridge between the parking lot and beach. My cell is[masked]-8732.
NOTE: Apparently Muir Beach is being closed this summer for parking lot rotation beginning July 8. http://www.nps.gov/goga/planyourvisit/muirbeach.htm
