Are you a dog owner? If so, what breed(s)?

I have three dogs... a 6YO Irish Wolfhound / Border Collie cross, a rough coat Jack Russell and a mini-doodle (Manchester terrier / mini poodle cross). They are great at dog parks but the doodle and IWx have been leash aggressive until I started using bark collars, and now they are getting great! I want to hike with other dog owners to get them past the leash aggression completely.

Where has been your favorite outdoor location to go with your dog(s)? Without?

Foothill, Mt Taylor, Ragel Ranch, Laguna, Liz Pedrone, Mt Hood, and off leash at Highland Springs in Lake County or Jackson State Forest near Willits.

Does your dog enjoy long hikes, a lazy beach walk, "quick trips before going back to the couch", etc.?

We do 1 to 3 mile neighborhood walks in town every morning, and 1 or 2 hikes a week, usually 2 to 4 miles.

How well does your dog socialize with other animals and people?

Great at dog parks, good on leash with bark collars. They have been leash aggressive in the past but the bark collars take the fun out of aggression.

Introduction

I'm a 60YO woman with dogs and horses. I love hiking with the dogs at Sonoma Regional, Hood Mountain, Foothill and other area parks.
